About Us

RePhiS, the Philanthropy Network of Senegal, is a non-profit organization established on July 18, 2024, bringing together committed actors from civil society, the private sector, and public institutions. We strive to build a strong, structured, inclusive, and sustainable chain of solidarity by fostering synergies among existing initiatives and supporting the emergence of modern philanthropy in Senegal and West Africa. With the support of local, regional, and international partners, RePhiS aims to professionalize the philanthropic sector and strengthen the impact of solidarity-driven actions in key areas such as education, health, culture, environment, and economic development.

Our Mission.

Create an enabling environment for philanthropy (favorable tax framework, promotion of the culture of giving, integration into CSR policies)
Foster synergies among public, private, and citizen actors
Mobilize resources at local and international levels for causes of public interest
Develop active advocacy around giving and social impact
Map philanthropic initiatives in Senegal and across the region
Launch an annual Philanthropy Forum
Create a collaborative digital platform to connect stakeholders and highlight best practices

Our membres

RePhiS brings together a diverse range of stakeholders united by a shared vision. The network connects non-governmental organizations, corporate foundations, socially responsible businesses, as well as cooperation agencies and funding institutions. It also includes community-based associations, leaders, and social innovators who work collectively to promote an inclusive, structured, and sustainable philanthropy in Senegal and across West Africa.
